Nano Biofuel

Biodiesel fuel is a much a lot more environmentally friendly choice to the “petrodiesel” most diesel cars run on. There is also B100, or the “biodiesel” most often discussed in environmental circles, is made of 100 percent vegetable or biological sources. Hence, biodiesel is a renewable, biodegradable, nontoxic and environmentally friendly biofuel. Biodiesel has similar properties to diesel, which is selectively used as an alternative fuel for diesel engines.

Biodiesel Blends

Bio diesel con be blended and used in many concentrations. The most common as B5 (upto 5%) biodiesel and B20 (6% to 20%) biodiesel. B-100 (pure biodiesel) in typically used as a blend stock to produce lower blends and is rarely used to transportation fuel.

Pure biodiesel fuel — B100

B100, or pure biodiesel, is different from blends. Biodiesel can be used in pure form (B100) or may be blended with petroleum diesel at any concentration in most injection pump diesel engines. B-100 as pure biodiesel is different from blends. A stranded diesel engine can run on pure biodiesel, but only with modification.

Bio diesel

Biodiesel is a diesel replacement fuel for use in CI engines. Biodiesel has been shown to reduce the emissions of hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and particulate when used alone as a it also carries excellent lubricity and is typically low in sulfur content. Biodiesel has similar properties to diesel, which is selectively used as an alternative fuel for diesel engines. Two important fuel properties for diesel engines are its cetane number and fuel viscosity.

Advantages of biofuel

  • CO2 reduction upto 90% (scientifically proven carbon reducer)
  • The most diverse fuel on the planet
  • 100% fossil free diesel alternative- renewable and sustainable diesel
  • Cleaner air and increased quality of life in cities, odorless, less air particles and reduced engine noise.
  • Biodegradable
  • Approved by leading vehicle manufactures
  • Can be used in all diesel engines

Application

As biofuel is known as an alternative to diesel fuel, there are other uses. Biodiesel engines due to the better fuel economy have been widely used in automotive area. B100 engine’s operating condition was as good on biodiesel as on diesel fuel, undergoing the usual rate of wear without sacrificing mechanical reliability and durability.
